Who we are
get my app (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is responsible for My Presets and for the personal information we handle as described in this policy. My Presets is a photo-editing app for iPhone. This policy covers the app, direct support communications, and this privacy page.
You can contact us about privacy at hello@getmy.app.br. You do not need to create an account or sign in to use My Presets.
Photos and data on your device
The app accesses the images and files you choose through the iOS photo and file pickers, within the access allowed by iOS. Photo permissions, where requested, are used to select images for editing and save or export results. The app does not automatically upload your photo library to us.
- Photos and previews: selected images are processed locally to display previews, apply edits, and generate exports. If you choose a photo as a custom preset cover, a copy of that image is saved with the preset.
- Presets and LUTs: names, editing values, favorite selections, imported LUT files, and custom cover images are stored in the app’s local storage.
- Preferences and copied adjustments: settings such as appearance, onboarding preferences, and adjustments copied inside the app are stored locally so the app can remember your choices.
- Temporary files and caches: previews and files prepared for export may be kept locally to support editing and sharing or reduce repeated processing.
These operations provide the editing features you request. We do not operate a service that receives your editing photos, presets, or LUTs automatically. The optional backup and sharing features below are exceptions to local-only storage.
Optional iCloud backup
The custom-preset backup feature is disabled by default. When you enable or request it, the app writes a backup to the My Presets iCloud container associated with your Apple Account. It requires iCloud to be available on your device.
This backup can contain preset names, identifiers, favorites, adjustment values, LUT files, custom cover images, and a backup timestamp. A personal photo used as a preset cover can therefore be included in iCloud backup. This feature is not a backup of every photo you edit.
Apple provides and processes the iCloud service under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple Account password or a copy of this backup on a server operated by get my app.
You can disable the feature in My Presets settings. Disabling it does not, by itself, delete a backup that already exists. Your device’s general iCloud backup or iCloud Photos settings may also affect storage independently of this app feature.
Intelligent editing tools
Where available on a compatible device, the app uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models to recommend editing adjustments. These recommendations use locally computed image statistics, such as brightness, color, and contrast, together with adjustment values. My Presets does not send these requests to an external AI service.
Tools that select a subject or work on the background analyze the selected image locally using Apple’s image-processing frameworks. They are used to edit the photo, not to identify people or build identity profiles. We do not use your photos to train models operated by get my app.
No advertising tracking. Apple services.
My Presets does not include advertising, third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your personal information, use your photos for advertising, or access an advertising identifier for that purpose. The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, or device location.
App purchases and billing are handled by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.
Apple may make aggregate sales or usage information and technical diagnostics available to developers through its own tools. Usage and crash information shared with developers is governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s practices. Such information may be used to understand app stability and improve the product, not to target advertising.
You can manage diagnostic sharing in iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. See Apple’s App Analytics & Privacy notice for details. We do not receive the photos you edit through those developer reports.
When you contact us
If you email hello@getmy.app.br, we receive your email address, the name supplied by your email service, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and follow up on your inquiry.
Only send information relevant to the issue. Sending a photo or preset to support is optional; the app does not send those files to us automatically.
Email and support infrastructure providers may process the communication to deliver, store, and secure it. Access is limited to those who need it for support or operational purposes. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law. It is not used for advertising or sold to others.
Retention and deletion
Locally saved presets, imported files, copied adjustments, and preferences remain in app storage until removed or replaced, or until the app’s data is deleted. Temporary files and caches may remain until cleared by the app or operating system, or until you delete the app.
- Remove a preset: use the delete action for a custom preset. This removes its record from your collection. Supporting files, caches, or older backup copies may remain.
- Remove all local app data: use iOS’s Delete App option for My Presets. Offload App can preserve documents and data, so it is not equivalent to deleting them.
- Manage iCloud copies: turn off the My Presets backup feature and manage or delete the app’s stored iCloud data through your Apple Account’s iCloud storage controls. An existing backup remains until replaced or deleted. Deleting the app alone does not necessarily delete its iCloud data.
- Remove exported copies: delete them separately from Photos, Files, recipients, or other services where you saved or shared them. Their own retention and recovery rules apply.
- Ask about support records: email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent to support.
Support communications are kept for as long as needed to handle and follow up on the request, maintain necessary records, or meet applicable legal obligations. We delete or anonymize them when they are no longer needed for those purposes, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
We do not have remote access to your device’s editing data or private iCloud backup and cannot inspect or delete those copies on your behalf.
Security and service providers
Local app storage relies on iOS’s app isolation and device security mechanisms. iCloud and App Store information is handled through Apple’s infrastructure. Protect your device and Apple Account, and review files before sharing them.
For information we receive directly, such as support communications, we use reasonable access controls and limit access to the purpose for which it is needed. Providers processing that information on our behalf must be subject to confidentiality and data-protection safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Apple, email, and hosting providers may process information in countries other than your own under their service arrangements and applicable data-protection requirements. My Presets does not maintain a separate cloud photo-processing service operated by get my app.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can change photo access permissions in iOS Settings, choose which files to import or share, disable optional iCloud backup, and manage diagnostic sharing with Apple. Limiting permission may make the associated feature unavailable, but it does not authorize unrelated use of your data.
Depending on the law applicable to you, including Brazil’s LGPD where relevant, you may have rights to confirm processing, access information, correct inaccurate data, request deletion or other appropriate measures, learn about sharing, and withdraw consent for processing based on consent. Legal retention requirements and other statutory exceptions may apply.
Our handling of information is limited to providing the features you request, your choices for optional features, responding to support requests, legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable service where applicable, and meeting legal obligations. An iOS permission is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.
To exercise rights concerning information held by get my app, contact hello@getmy.app.br. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant request and protect your information. For data held solely by Apple or another service, use that service’s privacy and storage controls. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority where applicable.
Children’s information
The app does not ask for an age, date of birth, or a child’s account profile. Photos can still contain information about children or other people. Only edit, back up, or share images when you have the necessary authorization. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us that should not be retained, contact us so we can review and address it.
This privacy page
This page contains no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded third-party content, or data-submission form. If you change its appearance, that preference is stored locally in your browser. The page does not set cookies.
Hosting infrastructure may receive technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and timestamp, to deliver the page and maintain security. This is separate from the app’s local photo editing. Clicking an external link or emailing us uses the privacy practices of the destination website or your email service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The date and version at the top identify the current policy. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law, and any additional permissions or consent will be requested where needed.
