My Computer Manager does not require you to create an account with the developer and does not collect, sell, rent, or use your personal data for advertising, analytics, tracking, or profiling. The developer does not operate a server that receives your Mac information, commands, files, or activity history.
Direct device communication. My Computer Manager connects an iPhone to a Mac that you explicitly pair and trust. Communication occurs directly over the same local network or over a private network that you configure, such as Tailscale or Twingate. After pairing, supported app traffic is encrypted in transit. My Computer Manager does not provide a public relay or cloud connection service.
Information processed. To provide its features, the Mac app may read and display system information such as the Mac name and model, macOS version, processor and memory usage, storage, displays, audio status, network interfaces, running and launchable applications, and connected Bluetooth device names. Only information required for features authorized for a trusted iPhone is sent to that iPhone.
Remote commands. A trusted iPhone may send commands that you enable on the Mac, including opening apps, locking the screen, changing audio mute status, restarting, or shutting down the Mac. Pairing, trust, command permissions, and optional Mac confirmations remain under your control.
Files and photos. The Mac app exposes only folders that you explicitly select. Folder listings and requested files are transferred directly to the paired iPhone. A downloaded image is added to Photos only when you choose Save to Photos. The developer cannot access these folders or transferred files.
Data stored on your devices. App settings, trusted-device and session information, encryption information, activity history, and app icon caches are stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. You can revoke a trusted device, clear activity history, remove shared folders, or delete the app to remove locally stored app data, subject to normal operating-system backup behavior.
Public IP address. To display the Mac's public IP address, the Mac app makes an HTTPS request to api.ipify.org. This service necessarily receives the public IP address used for that request and is governed by its own terms and privacy practices. My Computer Manager does not send Mac statistics, files, device names, or command history with this request.
Third-party private networks. Tailscale and Twingate are optional services operated by third parties. If you choose to route a connection through either service, their privacy policies and network configuration apply. My Computer Manager does not access your Tailscale or Twingate account credentials.
System permissions. Depending on the features you use, My Computer Manager may request Local Network, Bluetooth, Automation, Photos add-only, or Face ID access. These permissions are used only for the feature described by the system prompt and can be changed in System Settings or iPhone Settings.
