My Image Tools

Privacy Policy

A simpler way to work with every image.

Last updated: August 12, 2026.

My Image Tools is a local-first image workspace for Mac. It does not require an account and does not collect, sell, rent, or use your personal data for advertising, analytics, tracking, or profiling.

Local image processing. Resize, crop, upscale, convert, optimize, remove backgrounds, trim transparent edges, add watermarks, and create canvases directly on your Mac. The developer does not operate a server that receives your images, image previews, recipes, or export history.

Images and folders. The app can access only the images, folders, and export locations that you explicitly choose through macOS. Selected files are read locally so the app can create previews and process your batch. Files are not uploaded to a developer-operated cloud service.

Background removal and transparency. When you use background removal or transparent trimming, My Image Tools reads the selected image pixels locally and creates a new local result. Your original file is not replaced unless you choose to do so outside the app.

AI Super Resolution. On compatible Macs running macOS 26.5 or later, the optional AI Super Resolution feature uses Apple's on-device system capabilities. The selected image remains on your Mac and is not sent to an external AI service. On older supported systems, the app uses high-quality interpolation instead.

Presets and settings. Your recipes, presets, appearance preference, language preference, watermark settings, and other app preferences are stored locally on your Mac. My Image Tools does not synchronize this information with a developer-operated server.

Metadata. If you choose the metadata removal step, the app removes the supported metadata from the exported copy on your Mac. The source file is left unchanged.

Diagnostics and third parties. My Image Tools does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or a remote relay. macOS may create its own system logs and crash reports according to your Mac settings. Those system services are governed by Apple's policies.

Network access. The core image-processing features do not require a network connection. If a future feature requires network access, it will be clearly described before use and this policy will be updated.

System permissions. The app may ask macOS for access to files or folders that you choose. These permissions are used only to import, read, preview, process, and export the images you selected. You can change access in System Settings at any time.

You can remove presets and settings, delete exported files, revoke folder access, or uninstall the app at any time. Standard macOS backups may retain app data according to your backup configuration.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features or legal requirements change. The revision date above identifies the latest version. If you have questions about this policy or the app, contact us using the address below.
